New 2005 M3 Tire Question

I apologize for what is probably a stupid question - have had my new 05 M3 for a couple weeks now, got the 18 inch stock wheels on them, and recently noticed that my tires were inflated to 33 front/35 rear from the dealership, which is exactly what the owner's manual suggests for my tires. However, on the doorjam it shows inflation pressure is supposed to 41 psi, period, for both the front and back tires.

I normally wouldn't care about a small discrepancy, but have NEVER seen such discrepancy between the doorjam and the owner's manual (i.e. that's a 8psi difference between 33 psi and 41 psi). I'm very inclined to leave it as is (at 33/35): 1) because that's what the owner's manual says, 2) that's the way it came to me, and 3) I haven't had any problems whatsoever and they do not look underinflated at all (in fact the look perfect).

Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Thanks for your help. :help
