just got registered to the site......excellent I must say!
Im in London UK and just purchased a M3 3.2 1998 Evo Convertible in Black, its not the new shape the one before which I belive you call the E36?
Just a quick note for any info or advice you can give me, the car has very high mileage, about 102,000 at the moment, however it has extended BMW direct warrenty and Parts and labour is free for me if anything goes faulty with the car. It has a brand new roof and motor, new vanos unit with all new gaskets and pipes, brand new exhaust unit, new discs and pads, recall on the steering has been done, new rad, and A/C unit and compressor, new fog lights, central locking, diff seals for the ALternator, new cam belt and tension, brand new orig rubber, and a brand new CD unit. All these parts are original BMW and changed on site at BMW.
Im very happy with the car and would like to know if any one thinks I should keep an eye out for anything that may be lerking round the corner!!
Also Im interested in kitting some sound in the car, I know there are 6 speaks, but if I put a sub in the boot, will I hear it???
o yeah it has a brand new dash becuase the revs where flickering, it currently shows 3000 miles, however the service book has a stamp on this and is fully covered.
welcome, and yes if you put a sub in the boot you will hear it fine. if you want to fully make sure though there is an easy test, have one person sit in the car, and another stick their head in the boot and talk normally, if you can hear the person talking in the trunk, from the seats of the car you will hear the sub in the boot.
