yeah, 330's aren't anything to laugh at. Hell, look at the e90 330 and compare that with the e36 m3...

Bet the E36 M3 still romps it, especially in the corner, plus the E36 is the better looking of the two for some people!
Sounds like my family, sister has a 325i, mom a 325i, Dad a 740i and me an M3, not to mention a few sport utes added in for winter, life is tough!

But with the sports package and all, that thing is getting close. The e90 330ci pulls what; 255 hp @ ~6000, 220 lbs. of torque @ <3000. That's fast.

True, but without an M the suspension isn't there, BMW went away from building all cars for performance and make the normal BMWs too soft, that being said they are great performers, but they are No M models.
But like everything, the New GTO with an LS2 V8 will spank the hell out of a 68 Tri power, but would you want the '68 Tri Power GTO or the '05 GTO???

yeah we went to buy them at this warehouse in Dallas, Texas full of mildy used bmws (bought mine with 11k) and the performance package just stood out to me...i love it plus i got the nav ;-)

The Performance package on that 330 looks HOT!

Both cars look great! A very lucky family indeed, and maybe these cars will brign you guys a bit closer together (because maybe hell lend you a bit more dinero for a supercharger so you cna show him who's boss).

Dont ruin the nicest In line 6 cylinder ever built by putting a supercharger on it!!! NA is the way to go, look into Cams and other nice more subtle goodies!
