Motor swap E46 m3 into a e36?

So, I have been pm'd by another member with a e46 m3 motor and tranny. Can anyone tell me if this will work out ok in my e36 325? Anything special I need to do since it's off a different chassis?

The motor in my 325 is shot, and needs to be rebuilt/replaced. So, I figured why not start with a better power plant.
