i'm not too techy here so bare with me...
on the d36 m3 why would people want to swap their M52 manifold for the M50 and what significant difference is there? any help would be appreciated. thanks.
the M50 manifold is less restrictive, i dont think there would be that huge of a difference unless you converted to OBD-I along with the manifold. but thats just a guess.
haha, oh how you are wrong
On my 328 i picked up 30 PEAK wheel hp. M3s will see about 20 peak whp increase and very small drop in tq. My 328 motor made 30 peak b/c 328 tuning is shitty from factory and i had custom software. But typically m3s will see about 20-30 peak hp increase in this mod, i got the kit which included everything, manifold, gaskets, brackets, hoses, and importantly AA SOFTWARE from eurospeed performance.
I'll put up a new post about the GB going on about it...

was that before or after the turbo? do you have any of the dyno sheets? i guess i could see how that couldve been a big reason why the M52 2.5L lacked around 20hp of the M50 2.5L, but that doesnt necessarily result in better performance, especially if you lose some tq in the process
id like to see a dyno sheet on this, not that i dont believe you but not many mods without going forced will give you that type of HP increase, if it does do what you claim i will look into doing this mod myslef, but i can get the manifold much much cheaper w/software.
read the article.
Auctual dyno sheets are up there. My car b4 turbo obviously, just intake/exhaust/manifold and software. Before dyno was just intake & exhaust. There was only a 6ft lbs drop in tq or something and the power gain up top was just awsome. Read the article, its all there.\
4 some reason they deleted the GB thread. THere is a link to the BF groupbuy in my sig, just click on that.
