Is the m5 good for everyday driving?

this is like my favorite car but im just not sure if its good for an everyday driver becausse of its gas mileage and high maintnance is it worth the money?

i would say it is worth it, i'm not an economical person though, i buy what i like, if i can afford it

it is, trust moi.. comfortable.. fast, elegant, big, and cheap on gas :P hehe.. but who cares about gas when you have a M5.

fu*king gas...ahhhhh...oil oil oil....we need a 507hp hydrogen powered M5...with a flotaing capability...like the jetsons car

I don't yet know about maintance costs as my '01' CPO car is only 4 years old with 49K miles. I have two more years before I have to pay for much other than an oil change and tires. I have nearly 20K on these tires and I'm sure I'll easily make it to 25K. At that point I'll smoke up whatever is left on them. Based on many people's expeirences, I suppose a clutch job could come up within the next 2 years.

Forget about the gas mileage. If you're going to face the interest, depreciation, insurance and property tax costs, how can you possible car about the differance between a 19MPG car and a 29MPG car.

Yep, this car is great to commute with. Especially when your stress all day, and you need some peace and quite. Its expensive, but why have an M-5 if your worry about the cost of the car, while you should be enjoying one of the finest machines made.

If I could afford an m5...whether e34, e39, e60...et al.
I would FIND the money for gas and I would drive it EVERY day.

it is a great daily driver car, lots of gas, but you dont buy an m5 for gas milage you dont even buy an m3 for gas mileage! haha

If you can buy an M5 or M3, gas mileage shouldnt cross your mind. Once you get in one you'll forget all out gas.
