M5 Best Snow Tires?

I just bought this M5 (that's not me standing by the car BTW):

I am planning on driving it during the winter and would like some advice as to which snow tires work best with this car. Note: I live in the Colorado mountains (over 7000 feet elevation) and will be gaining and losing a thousand feet in elevation back and forth from work.

There are lots of people here with rear wheel drive so I know it can be done..

Can't tell you the "best" But I live in Germany and Germans are pretty much like the rest of us, half think you get what you pay for and the other half go with the cheapest ones they can find, they are only on the car for a few months anyway!!! I have shot the middle myself, I bought some middle of the road brand for my 528 and have had no problems.

I used Blizzak on my last BMW during the winter (I live in Minnesota and we have lots of snow) and was very satisfied.

If it's not too late, don't get the Blizzaks. I bought some new ones for my 2002 M3 conv. and I lost traction on all 4 wheels last night, slammed into a curb going into a turn, and bent the chassis and ruined the left wheels and tires, that cost me $1600.

Let's remember here.... no matter what tires you have on, you still have to drive.

i have the blizzaks, they work great in the rain, its going to snow this week here and ill be sure to test them out
