Hey guys i know this guy who is selling a 97 M3 for a good price and it only has 78,000 miles on it. However, theres a catch, the 5th piston is miss firing.
So do you think its still worth getting and how much is it to fix the 5th piston?
the guy said it does nt have enough compression...and i think he said it needs to be rebuilt.....but he has another m3 engine i could use instead of rebuilding it.
So the 95 M3 hes selling has the bad engine and he has a 99 M3 engine that i could buy and he can also install it into the 95.
He also said he will change it to obd1.
What do you thinki should do? Go to a 3.2 engine swap or just rebuild the 95 engine?
well, if it were me, and only from my point of view, i would walk away, there is so many else out there to choose from, it would be ashame to buy a M3 and it be off the road more than on.
