Ok, a friend owns an M3 Convertible, but he is not much of a forums/car guy, so I am trying to find out for him.
We went to the movies the other day, and when we came out the car would not start. Would not crank. Only some lights came on. After some calls and waiting, the service guy showed up, pressed soem buttons and the car started. I was not there so I can't tell you what he did.
This already happened again. Seems (for the description) that the lights are left on, and after a while the car "goes to sleep".
The question is how did the service guy wakes the car up? What is the secret code/sequence? I find it silly that he has to call the service and wait hours for somebody to press a few buttons and wake up the car!
He claims the service guy would not tell him what he did...
