I'm getting ready to do an 99 M3 drivetrain swap into my 2000 528i. Was just wondering if anyone else thinks this is a crazy idea. I've been on the fence for so long but now i'm ready to bite the bullet.

I'm not too keen into the workings of our drivetrain. I've spent most of my life working on 16 valve V8's.
