M Coupé

I've realized that it might be a little longer before I get my next car and I've recently been smitten with the M Coupe. I know this is kind of a divisive car in terms of design, and they're quite rare, but I'm curious to know what everyone thinks of it?

'99 and '00 got S52; '01 and '02 were upped to a S54 which put out about 20 more hp and 10 more lb.ft of torque.

I am not very fond of the cosmetics of the car, but I am enamored with the M coupé (and roadster for that matter) as a machine. All that power with such low weight, combined with excellent suspension.... mmmmmm

wrong.. the s54 produced 321hp because of heating issues.

I like the roadster, coupe is a bit oddly shapped.

I should reitterate.

I think the roadster looks better, and I like the idea of owning a convertible roadster, they are so fun. The coupe is a bit oddly shaped and since I wouldnt track the car often I think I would be satiusfied with a roadster.

End of discussion. You can't pass up a roadster. There is nothing like having the top down and cruising.

If you can sacrifice that, then the M Coupe is that car. Anybody who sees that thing just thinks it looks fast. (Which it is of course)
