Basically I found a good deal on an e36 M3 in really good condition. My question is how easy/cheaply can I add some power to the car? I know heard they are under rated so im wondering how easily i could bump up the power to 300+ . Thanks.

Go to www.bavauto.com to see some good prices. it all depends on how much is "cheaply" to you. im 16 so my idea of expensive is a lot less than most of the older people with "real" jobs in these forums, but yes M3 arent too hard to bring out the power. Go pick up the latest issue of European Car or their are some other aesrome BMW magazines available at your local bookstore such as Barnes & Noble. I dont know if you have one of those wherever your from but they have several BMW magazines and one that im blanking on the name right now has a big cover article all about modding the E36. hope this helps

how do you figure that? you'll probably be close to 260-265 with external mods and cams
