Walked up to my M3 only to find I was keyed on both sides of the car. Went to Chapman and was qouted $2700.00 +. Plan to check out Scottsdale Paint and Body. They have a wait time of a week just to get a frigg'n estimate.
Any ideas on other places. I didn't want to use my insurance, but at these qoutes I may have too.
P.S. Stay away from Fiesta Mall.
I guess there aren't many members from AZ...
btw keying seems to happen in the US more often than here in Germany...
maybe that's because we love cars too much to hurt them
This is by far one of the lowest of lowest things anybody can do to somebody who loves their car .........all the thoughts that go through your head after somebody does this cowardly act.....this pond scum touched my car, my property, he or she had a problem with me, but did not have the balls to look me in the eye & tell me. Instead they took the balless approach & touched my car. There should be an almighty Car God that watches over all car enthusiasts rides, & when they commit such a cowardly act. This Scum shall be struck by a Mother F#cking lightning bolt....... & Yes you guessed it, my car was vandalized @ myjobsite parking lot, 3 perfectly centered quarter size dents in my roof. I know who did it, but I just can't prove it......& thank God for Dent Wizard......
johnny,
I won't say what John Travolta said so well in the movie. I just dealt with the BMW dudes at BMW on Camelback and they were awesome and very professional. If you haven't already I would take your car there and I'm sure it will be in great hands. The insurance end sucks but so does looking at a keyed car. What goes around will come around.
I had the same happen to my M & the jobsite.......along with 9 other cars. & we're not just talking a small mark. THE WHOLE DAM CAR. Hood, fenders, doors, rear quarters, trunk, roof & of course both bumbers!!!
$7,000 for the complete car. Had no choice but to go through thre ins

My car got keyed...both sides. Almost the full length between the front and rear wheel wells. It's only touched up for now, but someday(hopefully not too long from now) it's getting some body work and a paint job. I seriously wish i could get my hands on the little turds that did it. Do you think they even have a fleeting thought about how much money and time it costs the owner to get repaired? AAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!

Can you guys post some pics who have used touch up paint? Where did you get the paint from? Dealer? Amazon has some BMW certified paint for around $38.
Wondering if it's worth just doing the touch up or actually taking it in (haven't gotten estimates yet).. what do you guys think? (I know, I need a carwash BAD!)
