Jacking Up a M3 for an oil change

Hi all,

I'm giving my M3 an oil change and the first thing i noticed was that the jack point on the bottom of my 1995 M3 is rather small. My hydrolic floor jack takes up the whole jack pad on the bmw body..I was wondering how y'all transfer the weight on to the jack stands??? Or do i only need to jack up one side of the car to reach the oil pan???

Any tips would be appreciated..Thanx

What you need to do is take a corner of your jack pad and under the rubber piece where ther car is supposed to be jacked. This will make it so you dont put it under your side skurt- then put your jack stand on the frame rail under the car - one on each side so the car is still sitting flat-
