Info on used M5

Hello All,

I am new here. So please be kind. I am located in Germany. I am looking for a M5 from 99 or so with around 100.000 km on the clock.

Does anyone know where to find reports about common problems, things to look out for etc. and test reports.

I used to drive a porsche 4S 993 before, does any one have experiance on these 2 cars, and would you like to share your experiance ?

Thank you in advance.

Chris.

Needforspeed is an unknown quantity at this point
I thought that the first Model year for the M5 E39 was 2000? manufactured 1999? Is that the same as US? Or did it make a debut a year ahead? Any way spend the extra money and get a 2001 model many changes and improvements.

indeed, there was no M5 in 1999. however most were probably manufactured in '99. I know that my car (which is a 2000 model) was manufactured in late 1999.
