How Reliable are the 98 M3's? 92k miles - BMW Forum

I've been trying to decide on alot of different cars to trade my supra in because i'm looking for something cheaper to put a downpayment on a house with. Anyways, there's a sweet 98 m3 locally that has 92k miles selling for $13,995. 5spd... How good of a deal do you guys think that is? I've been diehard supra for like 5 years so this would be a whole new transition!

Are there alot of problems in this year car? can they go well past 150k with no problems ran normallY? thanks

5spd? Is that an automatic? My car is closing in on 85000. Still feels like it's got 5421759432185287 miles left in it. Of course, a single accident can change that.
That sounds about the right range. Check VIN's and have a mechanic look at it.

I have a 97 with 145k on the ticker, no major problems just routine matinence. Runs like new.

I dont think the price is too bad either.
