how much would you pay for beat up m3

for all you m3 owners:
how much would you pay for 91 e30 ///M3 in horrible, but drivable condition, with 90k miles on it?
by horrible --- bad paint, some rust around sunroof (which is common, if i'm not mistaken) and some on the hood driver's side...torn seats.
drivable with only one part to replace which shouldn't be more than 500 bucks and also a need for a new alternator?
please help me out! thank you!

personally if i had, lets say, $5000 and ANY M3 popped up for sale in my price range i would buy it, no matter condition.

Is the rust around the outside part of the sunroof, as in, the actual roof of the car, or is it just on the sunroof cartridge itself? That could be a big problem to fix. And what is the one $500 part you have to fix to be able to drive it? I recommend taking it to a mechanic you trust, or a BMW dealership (Those two things don't always go together), and having them inspect it. How much does the guy want for it?
