95MPOWER is an unknown quantity at this point
(Thread Starter)
I have a 1995 M3 intake, track pipe, exhaust and chip. When I went to get it smogged I took everything off except the intake. I failed. I checked the spark plugs and they were brownish/red/black so i thought the car was running too rich so I changed the 02 sensor. Took it back and it still failed, but the numbers did improve. There are no fault codes comming up so what should I do guys? Could it be an air flow meter in the process of going bad?

Was the car warmed up completely and kept running before you got it checked? I live in Cincinnati and the best idea I have is that these testing centers be shut down. They are a total joke. Sometimes I think there is more pollution created by running these centers and building them, then is saved by the repairs we make on cars. We have been dealing with this in some counties in Ohio now for around 10 years.

The car was plenty hot. My exhaust note has stumble in it as if sounded like it was cammed. Could that hint at some problem? Also, on my intake, there is one sensor(not sure what it is), is bolted to my intake shield. Could that be affecting anything?

I was looking at the smog sheet and my car actually passed the 25mph test(barely), but failed at the 15 mph test. What could this mean? Like I said before, the car only has the intake and a new 02 sensor. Please help guys. There are no fault codes coming up either. I only get 1444 which means clean.
