Getting more speed

Hi all,

Just found out that US Version M3 1995 Coupe E36 ( the one I have )
has 3.0 or 3.2 with only 240HP compare to the European Version S50 B30 with 286HP !!!

Oh well, it is too late now, I love it already.... LOL

What can I do to get more speed ??

Your recommendation will be gladly appreciated.

how much money ya got 10k go full turbo kit, 6k go fulll supercharger kit, under 6k go with exhaust, chip, intake, udp',s new intake manifold, new headers, pipes, a lot of options, i would say nitrous but that's too easy

wait what am i saying those are for more hp, you asked for more "speed" do you want more "speed" or more hp cause if you want more speed, that's easy just buy a chip that removes the top speed limiter

oh and you have a 3.0 liter i'm suprised you dont know all this prior to purchasing one, anyways have fun

I meant more HP that would lead to speed in a way that my car would go faster from point A to point B ;-)

Your improvement all sound good.

The car was so impaccable when I bought it ( ran Carfax report all clear, one owner ). I didn't think twice about buying it at the dealer for only $15K and 53,500 miles ! Plus I didn't know about this great Forum and you wonderful people sharing the same passion live.

I think going to the less 6K investment.

What should I do first to feel a real improvement about the HP ?
Would you recommend a particular brand ?

you can buy a new exhaust, intake, chip, pulley's, intake manfold, just to name a few,

or you could buy a aa supercharger for 5k then have a little left over for something else maybe exhaust too, a supercharger would definetly give you more power, i know another good thing is to like buy a new rear axle or differential or something not sure

you should really contact your local bmw tuner and aks them they could hook you up and include installation fees

that supercharger would give you 355+ hp at the crank and like 285 at the rear wheels that is nizice

Nice ride man! I'm thinking of purchasing an M3 within one year. The Euro (1993-1995) models have 286 HP. The 1996-1998 models came with the 3.2L 321HP engine.
