[FONT=Arial] I am driving an E36 M3 and have recently noticed a flutter like sound coming from the exhaust. At a cold start, it starts at low rmp's but when it runs for a while it takes more rpms to produce the sound. I have a Super Sprint exhaust and was woundering if anyone had any ideas. My mechanic said it was normal, but would like a second opinion.

what is the flutter sound like? I had a similar sound coming from the Altima when i had an aftermarket exhaust on it(dont laugh). It was there from the day i put it on. Once the muffler rusted out there was no flutter sound.
