Haven't been a member of this forum for too long, but it sure is a great site!
Anyway, here's a couple pics of my ride, a 1998 M3 sedan. I bought it with 77,777 miles on it and it is in near perfect shape. My first BMW...and I luv it!
Thanks man. Yeah, cosmetic stuff is first on the list:
smoke tint, stock M3 spoiler, and then maybe clear lenses.
The weird thing is that the car was tinted nicely by the previous owner (who works in my unit). The dealer I bought it from stripped it for reasons unknown!?
After the cosmetic I will do a little performance upgrading, probably go with Jim Conforti Shark tuning/ CF intake, higher flowing intake manifold, and Stromung exhuast.
I hope to have all the above done within a year, if I can wait that long! :P

It's an auto, which I actually prefer since I have to do a lot of city driving. With the sport mode it helps a lot when wanting to drive "more spirited". :P
I'm curious to know how much better time wise a stock manual E36 M3 would run side by side with an auto. I don't think there would be much of a diff. The manual might be a tad faster (a tenth ot two), but the sport mode of the auto shifts IMO around the same point you would a stick. The M3 auto tranny sure is silky smooth though!
