Anything over 18 is getting ridiculous because you will have to have VERY low profile tires or else youll end up rubbing. If you run anything over 18 inches, the chance of bending your rims is highly increased.
I think ive seen people with 20's, but they most likely had rolled fenders.
Im pretty sure that over 18 and you WILL have to roll your fenders.. ive seen poeple with 19's that rub.

Tirerack.com show 17, 18 and 19X8.5. larger and i think you will have mucha lucha probs. check em out you can see the rims on the vehicle least i can on mine LOL. hope that helps you out some.
