When the new M3 is released....the price of an E46 M3 should drop, correct? i was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on when this might happen, and an estimates price....

I dont think their will be there will be that much of a price drop because im sure there wasnt an overproduction of the M3...although there will be a little
Well each New BMW gets uglier, so maybe they will have to drop the price just to sell them? I hope BMW fires Bangle soon or BMW will become a sub division of GM. If BMW does not hit a huge sales note with the New 3 Series, things will get ugly at BMW, probably as ugly as the seven series.
As to your question, I paid 20 grand a year ago for a 98 M3, so the newer M3s won't probably see much of a price drop for the next 5 years at least.
A matter of personal opinion on the ugly factor. Yeah at about over 6 months there should be a price drop. But more liekly just the mark up will be taken off on the e46 M3.
