MAFA n00b Join Date: May 2004 Car: Posts: 10 Photos:	I'm thinking about buying an E36 M3 and was wondering what the manual transmission feels like. Is the clutch heavy? Is the shifter notchy, can I find the gears with ease? Is the throw long? Can I throw down the gauntlet without fear of misshifting?

bill n00b Join Date: May 2004 Location: New Jersey Car: Posts: 14 Photos:	The throw is long but a shortshifter clears that up The clutch has great firm responsive feeling which will make you hate how Jap clutches feel. The best bet is to get out there and test drive a M3 or even a 325/328
