hi guys,
i am now the proud owner of an e36 M3 evo (96 N). It has a supersprint backbox fitted and although it sounds nice, doesn't quite give the throaty burble i expected. I am thinking of getting de-cat pipes made for it. Do you think it is worthwhile doing this? i used to have a 325i coupe which had a piper x induction kit and twin 3" scorpion exhaust but had the cats still in and it sounded excellent. My new M3 is very quiet by comparison (standard airbox on at the moment.) i have also searched for an induction kit but haven't had any luck can you recommend one or a good panel filter. will a panel filter sound as good?? When i fitted the exhaust and induction kit to my 325i i thought that it felt slower over stock?? is this a possibility even though it was breathing better?? Any help would be greatly appreciated,
regards,
john. :rock
