Welcome to the Werkz. If you are considering yellow then you must go with Dakar Yellow, it is one of the best colors on the E36 M3, plus it is a factory color. For tuning, you can never go wrong with Dinan, they have great and reliable products, plus a warranty. They are most likely the best bet. There are other companies, but I can think of any that are better all around than Dinan. Good luck with your decisions, and post up some pictures of your new ride!
Not a problem. You will find good answers to most of your questions here, most of the guys are 3-Series guys and will be a lot more insightful than I am.
Welcome to Teh Werkz! JET-BLACK BABY (OK - Both my M3 and Z3 are Jet black so...). Seriously, I also like bright red and am not usually a yellow guy, but the truth is - DAKAR YELLOW on an E36 M3 is right up there with ANY color - just spectacular! From the red or yellow colors you suggested, I'd go Dakar yellow with the black Accents. We have afew Werkz members with this combo on an E36 if you want to check it out - Pringles I believe and Montizzle - both have photo spreads! Good luck!

The Imola might be a good choice for red now that you mention it drz, I hadn't thought about that. I am not a fan of Phoenix Yellow personally, but I know a lot of people are, so if you like it then that would be a good second yellow option for the E36. Since the E46 was brought up...I love the Lagoona Blue on it.
