Yes, I believe in 1997 and 98, and I also read in one of the car mags that they were once the fastest sedans on earth for a little while, at least in Germany, but the drawback is that a lot of them came with an automatic transmission!

I was reffering to the United States Market, I apologize to our European Friends, but I honestly don't know what goes on over there, what I do know, you guys get faster cars and we usually get stuck with the wimpier versions.....until now! Wish my E36 had 321 hp!
