E36 M3 3.2 Airbox removal

I have to clean the ICV, to do this it looks like you have to remove the airbox. Has anyone performed this task before & do they have any tips.

Thanks in advance.

I had to do this myself one year ago but I couldn't remove the ICV because of the airbox. At that point I stopped and called someone I know (he's an ex-BMW mechanicer) to help me with this. It's too bad I didn't see him fixing it but I believe he told me he removed the airbox.

Good luck!

Def. remove the air box. I had to do it about 5 months ago. Very common problem I guess. But it is a bitch to get to even with the airbox off. Mine was on a 3.0 M3 so I'm not sure if there is anymore stuff in there. SaltShaker hooked me up might wanna talk to him. hope that helps..
