You probably mean e36 instead of e35. The e46 are newer, faster and more expensive. But if you can afford to buy one definatly put the money down, it's worth every penny. The e36 m3 is another great car, you can get a 98 for just over 20k. Both are great cars but the e46 is newer and uses advanced technology like the smgII trany. Shifts you car in milliseconds.
