What are the driving impressions of the 95’ M3 over the 97-98’. Besides the weight factor of a 95’ coupe and convertible is there that much of a performance loss? Could one not just make a few changes to keep the weight down on the convertible?
IMO, the '95 was the best of the e36 ///M cars. Floating rotors, OBDI, etc. make them one of the best sport coupes of the lot.
A convertible is just different. Do to the way are designed from a safety stand point, it just feels different. The coupe is going to give you a much better feel with reagards to chasis rigidity.
