Dealer asking 48K for a used '02 M3?

First off, nice site and hello all.
Secondly, my question for you guys/gals. Is this a rip off for an '02 M3 with 11,000miles on it? $48,000
TMV seems to be around $43,000, does that sound right?
What should I be asking for a 2002 M3 w/ 11,000 miles on it and are there extra options that might be on this car? Forgive me I am tottally new to the BMW seen.

Well I don't know your options (smg, ect....)
but kelly blue book says it would be under 40,000 for a standard M3 Coupe. I'm not sure this site will work but you can try it...

its not uncommon for bmw dealerships to sell 1 or 2 yr old preowned M cars around the original sticker price. i once saw a 1yr old M5 with 4k miles being sold for $92k when the original sticker was $70k. if the car your looking at isnt certified pre-owned then i would check some other places or search autotrader, but if it is, theres always a premium to pay for the 100k mile warranty
