I've started a thread in the 3 series E30 section which I've now found out might be better here!

Original Topic

Basically, after the engine died due to a faulty crank position sensor (replaced) we now can't get a spark at all. All the sensors and relays work and we've tried the obvious stuff so anyone got any suggestions?
