I bought a 1998 m3a(4 door) a 2 months ago off of ebay. Great car in great shape, got lucky. This is the second one I have owned. The 1st m3a was a 97 that was stolen looonnngggg story. CAr faqs was clear but the title was not.
Anyway, I was starting to buy parts to change the fluids in the car. The car needed shock mounts, all filtors, all fluids. The Bently manual says the the Transmission oil in it is life time. The rear diff oil in bmw only at 125 for 5 litters. The brakes with asc can only be done at the dealer.
Now, I know some of you have m3's with over 100k miles on them and have had to change the rear diff oil. Did you use bmw or after market?
Has anyone diy on the brake fluid on an m3 with asc? If so, did the asc function the same after the fluid change? I solo race the car so I was wanting to put better fluid in for racing.
Anyone changed the lift time transmission oil? |
