boost help

have an e36 95 m3 with a jc chip and jc cai. i just bought a fuel pressure regulator and i was woundering how much i should up the psi. i thank the stock is set at 44psi but im not sure. can anyone help me. also is that when the car is on or off? right now i have 45psi when its off and 95 whan its on. is that normal?

i cannot answer your first question on how much to up the psi.

stock numbers are (residual fuel pressure):

43.5 ± 2.9 psi (S50 M3)
51 ± 2.9 psi (S52 M3 (96 & up) )

is that when the car is on or off,
right now i am running about 93psi whan the cars on and 40 whan the cars off does that sound ok.

93psi? holy crap!!!!!!!!! turn it down. You shouldn't have more than 60 or so. Typically on forced induction you use a boost reference to jump pressure and even then it's not typically over 65 psi. You're naturally aspirated so turn it wayyyyyyyyy down before you cause some serious injuries to your car.
