| Many of you have read my couple of posts about my 04 M3 hitting the rev limiter at 7500 RPM in first gear. Then being fine to 7900 in the other gears. I know there are not alot of o4s out there so I have not been given a difinetive answer from anyone in the forum. Two dealers were not sure, an email to corporate customer service referred me back to my local service. This happened even though I had explained I had already done that. My second email request was met with you do not have a mechanical problem "NO DUH"so there is really nothing we can do for you. I finally ran down a number for the M Driver training school and I am in hopes they have an o4 they use. Certainly they can answer my question. Its been two weeks and to me it should not take BMW so long to get an answer to such a simple question. I can tell you if a car makes its max HP at 7900 RPM and is rev limited to 7500 that is just not logical. Am I being stupid here and getting carried away about something that is really not that important?
