I am changing my 2003 325i , and i wanna get M3
I am wondering what is the best price that i could buy new M3.
Bay area dealers are pretty expensive, and i found some dealers in Arizona that can give me nice equipped for $53K out of the door.
What you guys think?
New with options would be hard to get for $53 out the door in the Bay Area. Base is $47K and at the least, you NEED the premium package (@$3K). You're already @$50 before tax (another ~ $4K)
I was in the same boat as you and decided to go with an '03 used w/4K miles and with all options minus navi and cold weather. It even has the warranty of a brand new M.
pull up used within a selected milage range from your town. That lets you know dealer phone numbers, web site information, and you can many times check their inventory online. Even email them and try for the best deal. I wish I would have done more. But I was a little stupid, and a little to much in a hurry for some reason. ghead
I'm new in this forum , i usually read forums about cars, i went crazy when i sow, that in U.S you can buy a 2003 M3 for $47K , in Brazil you can't buy a 2002 for less
then $80K , a new one it's around $127K, thats why a have a Ford Focus 2.0 16v 2003, for that i paid $20K

Tough question. I drove both before I bought and was sure that I like the manual more. But now I don't really like the shifter (the long throw and notchy feel) and am wondering if I should've gone the smg route. ghead
I'm hoping the tranny gets better with time as I've only got like 5K miles on it.
One thing is for sure, you can't go wrong with the M3 itself

Nice, That's the info I'm looking for. Who did your install?
I did... just like everything else... my buddy who knows nothing though.. wanted to help.. so I walked him through it... (it comes with a lot of instructions... very easy) and he did it buy him self .... besides me finding tools... its very easy... and that is the best short shifter out there... of course in my own opinion..... if you want a crisp and solid feeling with a short shifter throw... go for it... its great... its not light.. or heavy to move.. just right...GOOD LUCK
