Another new (to me) M

It's been discussed several times before. "How do I get my wife to either A. not drive my M5 or B. let me keep the M5." Keeping my M5 has never been an issue, however the battle for the car keys has. Well I found a solution. Get her an M-Roadster!

Purchased last night another M car. A 1999 M-Roadster joins the garage with my M5. A nice pair they make. The M-Roadster as we discovered when we were going over the tech's notes from checking out the car for any issues also has a Dinan chip in it. It seems to be the only modification. It's one quick little car! Now instead of her fighting me for the keys to the M5 I think our roles will be reversed. I look forward to many hours in the driver seat, even if I have to wrestle her to the ground for the keys.

Weather permitting I plan on taking some photos this weekend of the BMW "family" which now totals 3. The 3rd being the "utility car" a 2005 X3 3.0i. Ironicly the M's are getting the garage spots and the "new" X3 is loosing it's spot.

Just thought I'd share :-)

Sweet! That's one hell of a performance vehicle (m roadster). Although, admittedly, the m5 tickles my fancy more.

Considering you got 145 horsepower on her, I think you still claim the advantage. Congratulations!
