I'm not up to date with the exact workings of a differential.... but stock 97 M3 have LSD... to what percentage it is locked... I dont know... or even if it is locked... but I know when I first got my car.... I could make both wheels spin... and can still make them both spin.. and I have a 3.46:1 Diff with 40% lock... it helps like no other in tight turns... but standing still... I can still light them up.
