Ok So...i Just Bought The Car Its A 97 M3 And I Get Pulled Over (state-mass) Officer Tells Me My Car Is All Around Illegal... First He Says The Car Is Too Low To The Ground ,says By Law Car Cannot Be Dropped More Than 2 Inches....then He Also Says My Signal Lights Are White Instead Of Yellow....how Do I Go About Getting This Resolved ..where Do I Go Who Do I Call..can Anyone Get Me More Info?
Some pics would help. If the turn signals are white, you should be able to fit yellow bulbs to solve that bit. As to the lowering, that may be a bit more involved.
Did he give you a ticket? what is this to low busyness I had my e30 just barely off the ground I think he was just screwing with you cause you haz a nice car and he doesn't

American law here in the UK that dont look to far from standard, as for the indicators I presume you mean front ( which I cant see!!) but if white fit with chrome bulbs which flash orange!, are you sure that not one of your pals has phoned 'rent a cop' and are winding you up????

I think he was just messing with you I have had a cop tell me he was being nice about not towing my car for 10MPH over so I told Him Tow it (he already gave me the ticket so I had nothin to lose) he backed off I HATE Almost every cop out there

hahaha theres no way your car is illeagal, possibly you dont have amber turn signals, but as far as drop wise, you're hardly dropped at all! what kind of suspension work do you have done on it anyways?
If the law is no more than 2" drop, you're in the clear.
A solution for the turn signal situation is to change the bulbs to orange ones or go with silver bulbs that illuminate orange. Here is a link to one example on our sponsor's site:
