Hey guys I stumbled upon this ad on craigslist. At first sight i was like there is no way someone is selling there m3 with all these mods for that cheap. So I figured something has to be very wrong with the car if this is legit. What are your opinions about this and as for pictures he doesn't show much of the exterior which leads me to believe it might have been in a crash of some sort.
The title says its a track car? Ya right. Rebuilt motor? Why? Probably blew it at some point. Its bull shit.
Let me point out a few things, huge list of mods, and no pictures. Not a single one of the actual car itself. This screams that he is hiding something. And i know what that something is....
Its not a real M3. See the steering wheel? Its the same one in my 328i. The M Spoke steering wheel is different. Its a fake M3. Pulling the VIN would confirm it.
Sounds like some solo advice right now I'm just saving my money until the summer and seeing where I go from there. I have a lot currently on my plate even though I got accepted to my first choice school with a 48k scholarship it's still an expensive school and I might be to poor in my college stages for adding mods to a e36 m3 if I bought one lol. I would also like to get rid of my auto 318i because they are no fun to drive but very reliable cars.
Definitley work on saving up. A guy in our local BMW club just bought a 1998 M3 in the summer, and has already put $6,000 worth of work into it. However he is quite a picky owner, and sold his 2010 E92 M3 to pay for it.
Stick with the 318i for now. After college reward yourself for all your hard work.
