I like the feel and ride of a BMW much more, but the 350Z is a different kind of car. I would pick the G35 Coupe with the wing, thats a sharp looking car, but I know someone who has one and isn't too impressed. It's all about personal preference!
Ummm, 350Zs dont come with turbos.. It's a N/Aed 3.5 liter V6. Anyway, it all depends on your point of view also. The 330Ci has 5 seats, the Z only has 2. The 330 would be my choice, but the 350Z has more torque and outpowers it. As far as handling goes, I'm not quite sure, so I cant say. But anyway, whats the point of this thread?
The 350Z is not a bad bang for the buck and the first couple of years did have a few issues (sporadic transmission failures) . . . I'm actually in the process of selling my Z and look forward to purchasing a M3 (e46) sometime within the next year.
As for performance, I think the edge goes to the Z when driven properly, but hey, I haven't had a stock Z for almost a year (TT Kit) . . . here's the beast
I do love the Z, but I think its time to move onward towards a vehicle that reflects professionalism and performance. I'm starting to lean away from the aggressive mods . . .
Could someone tell me an estimated price for an excellent condition 02 e46 M3? Should I wait for the arrival of the newest model to allow a reduction in price? I appreciate it.

Yeah definately! Even an e36 M3 would take a 350Z anyday.

03 350 z 0-60 5.4 secs 1/4 14.1
98 M3 0-60 5.5 secs 1/4 14.0
Do not know e46 stats
Would be a drivers race. And remember mods for the Z are cheaper. TT Z`s are awfully fast and could beat Porches all day long.
I've driven an 03 G35 coupe which was hooked up, and let me tell you. Its pretty quick, BUT............the ride is absolutely harsh. You feel every little bump in the road, and while I'm a big fan of tight suspension, a bimmer can handle just as good with much more comfort and a smoother ride. We dogged his car to hell, and then dogged mine to hell. His was a little faster, handling was about the same, but my car was much more smooth overall, even the G35 owner was impressed.
Infinity has been impressing me in the last few years though. They have stepped it up pretty well. The only thing that gets me mad is that they named that new sport sedan "the Infinity M"

AMG can't build an NA engine that can compete with M engines, so they stick in a supercharger and say their cars are faster. BMW could simply do the same, but they don't out of principle.</span>
