2006 M3 Interior lights

I have a quick question that hopefully someone will be able to help with.

After I turn off my car the digital odometer area of the console remains lit. Is this supposed to happen? I would think that after the car is turned off all lights also go out. I recently purchased the car so I'm not sure if this has always been the case or if this is a new "issue".

ALso, the red "light" under the rear view mirror that is related to the alarm doesn't flash like it's supposed. Does anyone think that this might be a related issue....

May it is due to loose connection . Don't worry your car is still under guarantee period go to that particular car-showroom and consult the dealer.
