2003 M5, 2004 S4 or wait

Help/Advice sought:

Have located a new 2003 M5 for less than 1k over invoice. Have also looked into 2004 S4 which can be bought for ~1K discount off MSRP. While the cars are in different classes the one purchased will be a daily driver in the NE. Thoughts and recommendations welcome. Howard

if u have the means i definetly reccomend the M5. the most beatiful clutch/grearbox ever, not that ive driven many others (00 M5, 92 325, 01 M3, are the only stick ive driven) but holy crap, no wonder they charge EXTRA for it on the 540. its liek teh only car which price auto<manual.

also its like a frickin rocketship. so big yet so fast and very torquey, exlt pickup in aany gear. steering is also very nice, very natural.

good luck getting one of the new gen for anywhere near sticker. IMO get an m5 now, while dealers will let it go go for close to invoice. also try not to get the first of a gen, they still got bugs to work out.
