1999 E36 M3 issue

So my car will beep 3 times in a row at completely random times. If the instrument panel could talk, that's where sound seems to be coming from.

If anyone has had this issue and knows what the cause is, or how to fix it, I'd really appreciate

That might be your "Check-Control" telling you that you have a fault, could be a bulb or low fluid somewhere... Just an idea !!

thanks for the input, don't think it's that though. The check control works great, and notifies me when anything is going on. This is just 3 random beeps, car is running perfect, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue...

I have a 1998 M3. My car has done this as well. Only in the winter through. I always thought it beeped like that when it was freezing outside (32F) I thought it just beeped to let you know how cold it was? If anybody else knows let us know because im interested to as mine has also done this.

Check your OBC and look to the right of the date/time for a little speaker looking thing. If you see it, press the "Memo" button to turn it off..... It sets a beep one minute before each hour to remind you to tune into the news on the radio or something like that.
