Sweet car! Just make sure you have it checked out at a good independant shop. 118 is really nothing to worry about if the car has been well maintained - definitely worth a look.

hmmm, i read somewhere it is basicly a rebadged 535i with aero kits, bilstien suspension... is this true... also in my niehbors half assed restoration he switched out parts of the interior for black so like there black mats on baige(sp) carpet (not neceesarily bad)... and the guy who owened it before him had really long fingernails or somthing cause her scratched the hell out of the leather paneling, do you guys think that it would be better to replace the whole panel or get it professionaly recovered
LOL thats not a m5 at all. Thats a e28 5 series. But who the hell cares its still a beautiful car. Deffinately not worth 10K in my opinion. But the car looks in Killer condition. He even did plastic bumper swaps, which i didnt know could be done on e28s without major cash.
(psst webb dont encourage him, its not an m5)

honestly i trust my 18 year old 535 more than i would a newer engine. operating under the priciple of " its gone this far with out breaking, probiblity is it wont " my 85 535 is still strong with 150k
