02 M3 Performance upgrade ideas needed

Hi All,

I have an 02 M3 64k miles on it. Im the 3rd owner and it's all stock.

I am wondering if at all is there anything I can do to it to beef up some HP's?

Ive been told that it pretty much is punched out from the factor. So there isn't much left to do to it.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Cheers!

Not much you can do. The 3 main things on N/A cars to gain power are exhaust, intake, and a tune/chip.
With the M3 you could probably expect 5hp from exhaust, 2-3hp from intake, and about 5hp from the tune/chip.

All in all you'd be looking at nearly $2000 excluding install for not much more than 10hp. So yes, there is more power to be had but most people don't think its worth the money.

If you want a tuners car that's very capable of pushing 450+hp with minimal mods then you should look into a 135/335/535i. My 335i is running $500 in mods (tune, intake, and e85 gas) and I'm putting down about 375whp and 400whtq which is more than an e9x m3.

2007 335i - JB4, DCI, DP's
2008 535i - Stock
2007 Mazda RX-8
