'02 M3 with Alpine cd/cassette -replacement for IPOD/AUX use?

Hi. Does anyone know if it exists a replacement for Alpine navigation with BMW number 65-52-6 911 006, Alpine ref. no. RD1BE850
Serial No. AL1BBE10816347

I want a new unit so I can use AUX/IPOD.

I tried a AUX kit from Ebay, mounted it on the wire connector on the cd shifter but it came dynamo noise on the loudspeakers.

Hans

Ok so here's what u wanna do go to crutchfield.com and enter ur car info and then click multimedia players and there it will give you a list of units that fit your particular bmw. I have bought many things from them and have had a great experience they send u everything you need to install it including the harness and installation equipment I believe.
