I am going to do a 2.7 tubo swap for my car in the winter and i was just wondering what everyone thought. i am looking at getting a 1985 2.7 engine from a local junk yard next week end, one of my friends is going to get it then trade it to me for my stock basket weves. i have a brand spanking new head on my 2.5 every part in its new and the head was decked. i will rebuild the 2.7 bottom end stock then put the 2.5 head on the 2.7 bottom end, i have a 6.5 chevy turbo diesel turbo that i will be using a 8 psi waste gate and 8 psi blow off valve with, a mega squirt fuel system bigger injectors not sure what size yet tho. then of course all the other obivous thing i will need for the swap, any info will help sorry if im being a noob im kind new to the small car turbo thing i usually just deal with big rigs. Thanks!

i think i will ive got most of the parts i need, and its cost me little or no money picking up the engine this weekend and tore down the turbo at work today and it looks good ill keep you guys posted

I will i have got the greater part of the parts i require, and it is cost me small or no cash grabbing the motor this weekend and tore down the turbo at work today and it looks great ailing update you chaps regarding the most relevant issues.
