Turbo e30 325 eta

ok so i just picked up a 1986 eta with full intent of doing a turbo build.
i have been reading online for the past few weeks and finally posting my questions, yes i searched.

my plan;

take the "I" head and mate it to the "e" block, swap in the "i" afm and harness. would the engine then rev to 7k or would i still be reving to the eta's low 5k?(will adress tuning in next question)
now i have lower compression, which is supposed to be good for turbo apps. right?

next im pretty confused about the FMU set up. i see some people doing the MSD ignition system but not sure what they use for their FMU, would an adjustable fuel regulator cut it and larger injectors or would i need something more like the Miller War chip? Mega squirt scares me...i know i know, but this is gonna be my first build. i know the miller chip makes it easier to tune, also would i then be able to ditch the msd?



my goals
-to run around 8-9psi but being able to bump up to 13-14 when i want.
-250whp
-being able to smoke most m3's, almost all ricers, and most others who want to toy with some german metal.

Have you searched the site? There are compatibility issues between the e block and i head.

some stuff says the i head only works on the super eta block, but then i read other things that say otherwise.

i hadn't been finding any difinitive answers.

you are going to have to use all of the top end componets off of the m20b25 engine and the wiring and computer MAF and crank sensor i am in the middle of a turbo build for my 87 325e and your best bet to get the most out of your engine is going to be with a MS kit it looks complicated but do ur research and the unit darn near builds itself think Happy boost good luck
