This is for the just the kit right? It is not currently on his car? I would be wary of buying a used kit from a private party after they took it off of the car. If your father is a good mechanic I suppose he could tell if there was problems with the kit as is. Injectors and software will add a good little bit that you will have to spend. I would source the software and injectors before I committed to the transaction. If that is a complete kit with no problems, I do not think that would be a bad price.

edit: What car did it come off of?

Depends on which unit you have. I have two friends who used to push Vortech units. They were considered Osh's (from RMS) big re-inventing project to redeem his tarnished name. They made some 400-430 rwhp on their and they claim to have had more room to go with.

Well I've already got 400 rwhp on my vortech unit and it's only pushing 6psi.
